Craig Kiefer is an award-winning Biovisualization Specialist experienced in developing visual solutions for medicine and science. As a partner in Martens & Kiefer, Craig is known for specializing in the creation of innovative, artistically dynamic and accurate imagery of biomedical subject matter.
Kiefer enjoys working with a diverse range of medical and art professionals and has tackled an equally broad range of subject matter from patient education to challenging editorial assignments to biotechnology. His resume includes hundreds of publications and art direction for some of the most notable medical and creative agencies. Kiefer's work has earned him many awards including a Best of Show from the Association of Medical Illustrators and inclusion in the 2010 American Illustration 29 Annual.
Kiefer holds a master's degree in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is an occasional Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Northern Illinois University. Kiefer is an active member of the Association of Medical Illustrators.
